A viewer asks, “Is this all your stuff?”

I knew a man. His name was Glen. Glen was a good man. A good friend. Whatever he posted was comic genius. I loved seeing Glen’s posts. I knew I’d smile.

I ran into Glen at a function once and had to ask him “how much of what you post do you write?” His answer reflected his sincerity and honesty.

“About 40%”

To me it was still impressive, his writing was good. I miss Glen and his posts very much.

For myself, where this blog’s concerned it’s about my writing; creative, commerical or otherwise. The only exceptions are obvious shares. All the rest is original content.

But we all know everything’s a remix, so there’s that.

Where do we go from here?

I started a thing in September. I began displaying a daily message in my storefront window. One window grew to two, then three, and it’s down to two again. I cycle the third out with other content now. You can read about the reason behind it online and see the entire collection there.

On Christmas eve I put up my hundredth message. Its timing was unplanned, but it sure was neat. I just happened to begin on September 16th.

I’m approaching 130 displays now. It’s a regular part of my day and I could keep doing it for a good while longer. Its impact is clear. But still, I’m contemplating its longevity.

I’ll let the universe sort that out though. I’m just having a good time with it, especially knowing there are some who look forward to it every day. I take that to heart and take the commitment seriously.
