Ain’t you one popular mother… “Shut your mouth!”

Gotta love those emails from social networks, telling you X number of people searched for you this week. Like you, specifically. It’s funny when you think about it, though I suspect most don’t. In fact I suppose it’s one’s tendency to believe it on instinct, so I see how it’s an effective hook to draw you in.

I know better though. Ain’t no one searching for me.

Not yet anyway.

Poor thing, what I’ve put her through. She’s a trooper alright.

Looks like Cathi’s Crochet Corner is on the chopping block

I am immersed in a gripping tale, about a public radio station whose pledge drive never meets their hourly goal.

“Aw man, we almost got it.”
“Again!”

Did I do that?

If a portal to the universe is ever uncovered and plug-and-play anything possible, the first thing I’m ordering is an Undo Kit. I don’t need the bells and whistles of a full-on remote. Just the one feature will do.

Makes a great gift too.

Sorry, my mistake. It should’ve gone there.

I don’t worry about making mistakes. I’m fine about that. Bring ’em on, it’s how you learn. What bothers me is being incompetent or unprepared and putting that out there. That’s far less forgivable. It says you didn’t take the time to get it right. You just went ahead and did it. That’s different from a mistake.

Maybe this post was a mistake, I don’t know. I guess I’ll be made aware of it by someone.

But it’s okay. I’m prepared for it.
